I'm a - as the title suggests - single black female trying to find a space to ask questions - and maybe find some answers - about how to occupy white spaces and remain black...whatever that means. I am writing this blog anonymously mostly to protect the identities of the people I love, but partly to protect myself as I make it through the tricky waters of race, space and place.
